- 2 / 5By Mike FarleyPleasant pub ambience, good if fairly plain food, good range of drinks including several real ales, excellent value. Not fine dining, but good for a casual evening out. Edit: on our last two visits, the busy pub has been cripplingly understaffed, with only two waiters/bar staff who of course hadn't even time to change barrels, so that all draught cider was off, and the one real ale left was sour. This really is a big problem: I do hope management address it urgently.February 25, 2017
